These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
